Projekt „Hei, ma olen aktiivne eurooplane!“

Rahvusvaheline kahepoolne noortevahetus „Hei, ma olen aktiivne eurooplane!“ toimus 23.-29. oktoobril 2010.a Kloogarannal, Harjumaal. Projekt korraldati koostöös Euroopa Liidu naabruspiirkonna riigiga – projekti partneriteks olid Tallinna Noorsootöö Keskus Eestist ja Academy for Peace and Development Gruusiast (www.apd.ge).

Projekti on rahaliselt toetanud Euroopa Komisjoni programm Euroopa Noored.

The project was very interesting and important for all of us. It was the first project which I was involved in. I realized there that the knowledge of English language is very important for communication. During the project I got a lot of experience.

This was the first trip abroad for me. I was positively charged and enjoyed everything that took place there: the style of education, relationship between the participants and their leaders as well. I made a lot of friends there. These were unforgettable days for me, which will accompany me my entire life. I think this project was greatly successful and I would like it to be continued in order to improve my knowledge of English language and get more leadership skills. I also think that if I were to continue in this project I would find answers to important future questions.

I would like to express my gratitude to Maka Sartania; group leaders Silva, Beso and Tata; all the trainers and also donors who funded this project.

I don’t know how to start and write down my feelings about this project. Shortly - it was great! Frankly speaking, at first I was really afraid as I wasn’t sure if I could live independently. But when we arrived in Estonia I remember that I liked our home so much. There was so warm and familiar situation, so I felt better. This project helped me to improve my English and get use to living independently. I got a lot of experiences, knowledge and many friends.

We shared our culture and got to know the Estonian culture. I felt that everybody respected each other. And the most important thing - we got education like entertainment. Our trainings were so fun, energizers helped us to be in a good mood, our daily schedule was nice. I think that every minute which I spent there was really beautiful and important.

When I arrived back in Georgia I was very proud, because I had developed – I was assured in my abilities, I was free from silly complexes, I learned how to be active and how to do my best. In the whole summary I think that I can say:
“HEY, I AM AN ACTIVE EUROPEAN!”

Thanks to Academy for Peace and Development!
Thanks to Tallinn Youth Work Centre!
And the biggest thanks to SILVA, TATA and BESO!

The week that I spent in Kloogaranna was really cool. I have a lot of memories and feelings about it. The project was very well organized, because all the things I did there were useful and interesting. Also it helped me to become more independent, self-confident and organized. Furthermore, I improved my English language skills and met very interesting people. It was a great mix of entertainment and training sessions.

This week also gave me a chance to meet Estonian people. I can definitely say that they are friendly and easy going, we easily found a common language and they are now my friends. Also, I got to know the other Georgian participants better. One of the most important things was that the place where we stayed was gorgeous. The nature was awesome and it was good that our place was not in the middle of the town. All in all, I can say without any hesitation that I'm proud of being a participant of the project. I hope I’m visiting Estonia again!

A short tour in Europe became a very important aspect of my life. I met a very interesting nation and culture. I would like to express that I became more self-confident and independent. The camp was just great. The time which I spent there was very interesting and praiseworthy. We had very well-organized time schedule and the program was also very interesting. It was very good that besides the trainings we also had some time to entertain ourselves.

I am happy that I made European friends who will help me to improve my English. Unfortunately this tour was very short, but I am sure that we will write a new project in the future.

I was in Estonia in October for the project "Hey, I am an active European" which made a great impression on me. There were participants of my age and lovely leaders who became my friends. We had so warm relationship to one another that I did not feel the Estonian cold climate. We went to sightings of Tallinn and heard much about history and culture of Estonia.
Trainings were very interesting and I mastered English language more deeply and became more assured in my own abilities. I didn't want the project to finish. I wanted it to be continued.

Special thanks to those people, who supported the implementation of this wonderful project. Also special thanks to leaders Silva, Tata and Beso who gave us unforgettable days.

When we went to Estonia our aim was to become active Europeans as the name of the project was "Hey, I’m an active European". Today I am very glad to have seen Estonia and learn much from this project. There were very interesting trainings, I improved my knowledge and learned how to write projects. There were interesting games that I will never forget. Today I have so many Estonian friends and I got to know the Georgians better as well. I think this project was the best in my life.

Levan Kvartskhalaia

I have taken part in many projects, but this one was the best. I met new interesting people who shared their love with me. The project gave me the motivation to learn foreign languages; also I found my strengths and weaknesses. It was a good chance for me to get to know a new culture, new history, increase my knowledge, become independent, learn to express myself and gain new friends. The topics of the trainings were very interesting and the entertainment part helped us to get to know all the participants. I came back with new friends and new information, full of positive energy. This week was one of the most interesting and beautiful in my whole life.

Hey, I'm an active European!!!
Really active, very happy and content too, because I had a very memorable week with my best and lovely friends in Estonia. Those were really amazing and nice days for me, because I was living in a wonderful place in a big house with my friends.

This week was very productive for me, because I got acquainted with a lot of lovely, friendly, joyful, interesting and hospitable friends with whom I spent a lot of nice and memorable moments. It was a very good experience for us to live with different people who had different kinds of thinking, taste, view and mentality.

Also we had very interesting trainings about European values and other things. I deepened my English knowledge, got to know the culture and history of another country.

I’m very happy to have been the participant of this amazing project.

These days in Estonia were very important for me. It was my first trip to Europe and I was surprised when I saw Tallinn and met Estonian people. The Estonians where very lovely, I liked them. This project was very interesting, well-organized and everything was great. We had enough time for trainings and also enough free time. Trainings were interesting and cheerful. Shortly, this project was so good that I’ll never forget it.

This youth exchange gave me so much. It gave me knowledge about my options for becoming active and changing things. I had a great time and I met so many different people with so different characters. I really loved learning about Georgian culture and people, that's so different from ours and I hope I stay friends with many of the participants for a long, long time.

Elina Libek

The youth exchange was very cool. I loved it so much. It's hard to say specific reasons what made this experience so nice, but I think that main reason was our super cool and sweet group. All Georgians were so friendly, energetic and warm people. They were always smiling, singing or dancing. And our Estonian group was also very bright and cool. :) But this camp was also educational. I learned many things about Georgian culture and opportunities for young people in Europe. I learned that if you want, you can do everything in your life. The important part is to make sure that you always give your best for it.
