Tallinn Youth Information Centre was established in August 2003.
The main goal of Tallinn Youth Information Centre is to collect and distribute youth information in Tallinn. This information helps young people to organize their spare time and to solve their problems - this altogether supports youngsters development and socialization.
Tallinn Youth Information Centre is a place that all youngsters aged 7-26 years old can visit. Information is gathered to provide necessary information for youngster`s families, pedagogues, social workers and youth workers.
Tallinn Youth Information Centre offers information concerning following domains: free time facilities, youth employment, hobby schools, youth entertainments and events, international study and work possibilities, counselling services etc.
Youngsters can find materials independently orget help from professional workers: all discussions are confidential. Young people can come to the Tallinn Youth Information Centre without an appointment whenever they need information, counselling or guidance.
Tallinn Youth Information Centre cooperates with Tallinn Open Youth centres, hobby schools, sports clubs and youth organizations. These institutions send out updated information to the Tallinn Youth Information Centre where it will be set up.
